Mass Effect 2, NowGamer's highest scoring game of 2010, has won the game of the year award at at the Interactive Achievement awards.
Mass Effect 2 beat competitors Red Dead Redemption, God of War 3, and favourites Halo Reach, and Call of Duty: Black Ops to the top gong at gaming's equivalent of the Oscars, held by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences for the 14th time last night.
Red Dead Redemption, another NowGamer favourite, picked up five awards for best action game, best game direction, best art direction, best gameplay engineering and best character performance.
